The Global Works Council The GlobalWorksCouncilis the body bringingtogetheremployee representativesof Groupe PSAat global level. It is part of the co-constructing efforts conducted at international level, with employeerepresentatives fromthe all with at least 500 employees. The Global Works Council comprises a European body (Group EuropeanWorksCouncil)andan extra-European body.Throughthe extra-European body, all Groupe PSA employees benefit from global representation. The Global Works Councilmet once in 2019, the EuropeanWorks Council metthree times and its Liaison Committee met four times.
The joint Union-Management Strategy Committee
This internationalbody resultingfrom the initiativeof a Company agreementallows more and earlier involvementof the employee representatives in the Group strategy.The Group has steppedup communicationwith the committee with a view to increasing sharing, exchanges and transparency upstream in relation to strategic topics such as the product plan, the guidelines of the three-year medium-term plan andthe industrial strategy. The Frenchrepresentativeorganisationsand the mainunionsof the non-French European companies are represented on the committee.The Joint Union-Management StrategyCommitteemet twicein 2019.

The Global FrameworkAgreementon Groupe PSA social responsibility Groupe PSA has chosen to get a wide range of stakeholders involvedin the corporatesocial responsibilityprocessby signinga Global FrameworkAgreementon corporatesocial responsibilityin 2006. In 2017, Groupe PSA and the trade union federations IndustriALLGlobalUnionand IndustriALLEuropeanUnionsigneda new agreement in Geneva.
internationalhumanresourcespolicythat developstalentand skills, quality of life and well-being in the workplace, with respect for diversityandequality oftreatment. Groupe PSA thus has an adapted framework to efficiently and transparentlyimplementthe United Nations Guiding Principleson Business and Human Rights (“Ruggie Principles”)and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. This is part of the Company’sdutyof vigilance with regard todaughter companies. Since2006,the applicationof this GlobalFrameworkAgreementis monitoredand assessed on an ongoing basis using a structured system.IndustriALLandall unionsexercisecontinuousvigilanceand can report non-compliance. The agreementhas been translatedinto 14 languages.Employees are kept regularlyinformedof progress.The text of the agreement is public andavailable on the Group’s Internet website. Theannualmonitoringprocessof theGlobalFrameworkAgreement provides trade unions with the opportunity to report non-compliance regarding human rights. Groupe PSA is committedto ensuringthat respectof humanrights is a determining factor in selecting its suppliers and has implementeda due diligenceplan with regardto respectof human rights in accordancewith the recommendationsof the OECD. By signing Groupe PSA“ResponsiblePurchasingPolicy” the Group’s suppliersagree in particularnot to use forcedor obligatorylabour or child labour. This practicehas been applicablesince 2006, well before the entry into force of regulationssuch as the UK Modern SlaveryAct. Groupe PSAis committedto respectingprivacyand to protecting employeepersonaldata, which is held as a fundamentalright. Its global policy in this matter complies with the European Union regulationwhile respectinglocal laws and regulations.In addition, Groupe PSA has introduced in 2018 extensive information and trainingfor employeesandhas updatedfor employeesthemeansof exercisingtheir rights.
This agreementreflectsGroupe PSAwill to co-constructits future with employeerepresentativeson a global scale and to involveall employees in its global human resources policy. It applies to all Groupcompaniescontrolledby the Group,excludingFaurecia,and was contractuallyextended to its partners, suppliers and dealer networks. This agreement is made up of two parts. The first part gives a formalframeworkto Groupe PSAsocialresponsibilitypolicy,enrolls stakeholders and sets forth its social requirements in terms of supply chain. The second part adds the goal of introducingan Management ofsalienthuman rights issues With the GlobalFrameworkAgreement,Groupe PSAundertakesto go beyondsimplycomplyingwith local and nationalstandardsand to work within a framework for fundamentalhuman rights. The agreementrefers to conventions 87, 135 and 98of the International Labour Organizationrespectivelyon freedom of associationand protectionof the right to organise,on workers’representatives,on the right to organise and to bargain collectively,conventions 29 and 105on the abolitionof forcedlabour,convention 138 and 182on the abolitionof child labourand the minimumage for admissionto employment, convention 111 on preventing discrimination, convention 100 on equal compensation and convention 155 on occupationalsafetyandhealth. Since joining the United Nations’ Global Compact in 2003, the Groupcommittedto respectingand promotingits ten principlesas well as the Universal Declaration of human rights, the ILO Declarationon FundamentalRightsand Principlesat Work,the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and the United NationsConventionagainstCorruption,the UnitedNationsGuiding Principleson Businessand HumanRights(“RuggiePrinciples”)and the OECDGuidelines forMultinationalEnterprises.
