Groupe La Poste // CSR REPORT 2022
Commitments supported at the level of the business units and main subsidiaries 1 LA POSTE GROUPE PROFILE AND STRATEGY ■
VÉHIPOSTE Véhiposte is the operator of La Poste Groupe’s mobility solutions. Its team manages a fleet of more than 60,000 vehicles (the largest company fleet in France) and is a pioneer in the environmental transition, in its activities described below:
Transform the group’s means of mobility
■ Systematically integrate environmental criteria into its specifications (vehicles, tires, management, etc.) ■ Green the fleet by investing massively in electric utility vehicles: more than 9,000 orders in 2022, from cargo bikes to utility vehicles with a capacity of 11 cubic metres ■ Initiate a greening programme for service and company vehicles and explore alternative services to vehicles, favourable to the environmental transition (e.g. mobility subsidies) ■ Offer recharging solutions, by installing electric vehicle recharging stations on site or at home ■ Extend the use of vehicles by supplying a used vehicle resale network, explore vehicle retrofit and upgrade solutions, and promote the use of re-used parts (whether or not from postal vehicles) ■ Ensure technology watch on innovations in the sector (bio-fuels, low-rolling tires, waterless washing, etc.) ■ Optimise the fleet to limit its carbon footprint: extended use of under-mileage vehicles, removal of diesel vehicles from low-emission zones, dynamic fleet renewal
Improve fleet management
■ Direct users to local repair networks and second hand spare parts ■ Connect vehicles to improve their use and train drivers in eco-driving
