Human rights policy 6 EMPLOYMENT POLICY ENHANCING THE GROUP’S DEVELOPMENT ■

Human rights are integrated into a dedicated policy, driven by the Executive Committee, as well as by the management bodies of the group and subsidiaries . This policy contributes to the implementation of the duty of vigilance (1) .

■ defending the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining ; ■ defending the right to decent compensation ; ■ opposing any form of infringement of the privacy of individuals. La Poste Groupe strictly complies with the obligations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The group prohibits itself from setting up any device likely to infringe on the privacy of its staff, service providers or subcontractors. La Poste Groupe conducts its activities in compliance with the labour legislation in the countries where it operates. If local provisions are likely to limit the protection of human rights within the meaning of international standards, La Poste Groupe looks for the best answers to come as close as possible to this protection for its employees and subcontractors. ■ La Poste SA affirms the principle of non-discrimination and includes it in its internal regulations; ■ La Banque Postale has developed a manifesto on equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion ; ■ GeoPost has incorporated the principles of diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination into its code of conduct . The international activities of La Poste Groupe are mainly driven by the subsidiaries of GeoPost in nearly 50 countries around the world. These subsidiaries, as players in transport and delivery, are attentive to the respect for human rights in the countries in which they operate. They pay particular attention to people likely to be more exposed in terms of human rights, particularly women, children, disabled workers, national, ethnic, religious or linguistic minorities, and migrant workers. In 2017, GeoPost signed a group agreement with UNI Global Union , as well as local agreements , which reaffirm its commitment to fundamental human rights and freedom of association throughout its value chain. In the countries where they operate, GeoPost’s subsidiaries implement this commitment by local actions to prevent and control human rights risks.

La Poste Groupe is committed to:

■ preventing any form of infringement of human rights and ensuring that it is not complicit in human rights violations; ■ prohibiting any form of moral or physical violence, and more generally any form of inhuman, cruel or degrading treatment; ■ prohibiting any form of forced or mandatory labour, child labour and human trafficking (2) ; ■ prohibiting any form of discrimination (3) , in particular due to gender, age, state of health or disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, nationality, social origin, belonging to a community, political, trade union or religious convictions; 6.2.1 Being an exemplary employer To offer quality jobs and prevent all forms of violence at work, the group applies proactive measures to: ■ promote workplace equality and the fight against sexism ; ■ prevent and handle situations of moral or sexual harassment ; ■ provide support for victims of domestic violence ; ■ open its business lines to disabled people ; ■ promote diversity, inclusion and the fight against prejudice and stereotypes. La Poste and its French subsidiaries regularly sign employee agreements promoting human rights with the representative trade unions (4) . La Poste SA, La Banque Postale, CNP Assurances, GeoPost, Médiapost and Docaposte have drawn up codes and regulations that specify their commitments in terms of diversity, inclusion and the fight against discrimination : ■ La Poste Groupe is a signatory of the Diversity Charter ; ■ the Services-Mail-Parcels business unit is Diversity certified ;
