■ developing the employability of La Poste employees : La Poste gives priority to internal mobility and supports employees in the new professions; ■ implementing a fair and quality compensation policy ; ■ promoting an ongoing and constructive social and economic dialogue with employee representatives.
In response to these material challenges, La Poste Groupe has set up a human resources policy , which is an extension of the group’s human rights policy. It covers five areas : ■ enhancing the quality of life and working conditions, preserving the health and safety of employees at work ; ■ anchoring the responsible employer policy at the heart of actions: social and societal responsibility is at the heart of the human resources policy, in line with La Poste’s purpose; 6.2 HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY The group has a human rights policy which carries its commitments in favour of the protection, respect and promotion of human rights in all of its activities, in its value chain , in France and abroad . Human rights are defined and recognised by several international conventions and commitments, including:
■ the United Nations guiding principles on business and human rights; ■ the declaration and fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization ; ■ the principles of the United Nations Global Compact . La Poste Groupe, including La Poste SA, La Banque Postale, CNP Assurances and GeoPost, is a member of the United Nations Global Compact .
