1 From 2018, pursuant to the provisions of the French Sapin 2 law, payment of the variable compensation due for the previous year’s objectives could only be paid after approval by the General Meeting called to approve the annual financial statements for the year ended. This explains the slight decrease in the equity ratio for 2018 (the compensation of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer only take into account the second half 2017 bonus payment) and the increase in 2019 (the compensation of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer take into account the bonus payment for the entire year 2018 (first half and second half)).
