A youthemployment policy to foster integration into the labour market Groupe PSA implements a voluntary youth employment policy based on a responsible commitment. 4,658 apprentices were employedwithinGroupe PSAat end 2019. In addition,5,289 school internshipshavetakenplacein the Group.TheGroup’semployment policy for young people also includescontractsfor PhDs students and international corporate volunteering contracts.

To attract a diverse range of talents, PSA University currently partnersthirty scientificand managementschools and universities in Europe, China,Brazil, theUnitedStates andMorocco.

ANTICIPATING THE COMPANY’S NEEDS 2.4.2.2. Groupe PSAwants to secureits sustainabilityand the employment of its employeesbasedon operationalexcellence,performanceand agility.The Groupleads a policyof responsibleemployment,with a will to anticipate transformationsand demands for skills, and to boost its workers’ employability. As such, the Group offers employeessecurecareersinternally,suchas throughretraining,and externally. A joint body implementedby the Group,the Professionsand Skills Observatory,helps developa prospectivevisionof the evolutionof Group professionsand establishshared analysesof professionsin high demand (unmet needs) and at-risk professions(downsizing

and retrainingneeds).The Observatory implementsongoingaction plans torestore balance among the business lines. Internal career paths are safeguardedthrough the global internal reconversionprogramme“TopCompetences”.Duringthe year2019, 1,260 employeeshave had the opportunityto train in a new Group profession, through courses lasting 80 hours on average, over periods of18 to 24 months. Safeguarding career paths also means promoting external professionalmobilityaccompaniedby schemesto help employees find new employment, retrain for anewactivityor set upa business.
