The volume of paper and ink cartridge waste came down significantly,in line with the declinein printouts. In the ISO 14001 certified scope of operation managed by the Real Estate and Logistics Department(74% of the surface area occupied in France), the main waste products are sorted and then recycled:paper and boxes, batteries, cartridgesand WEEE.

It should be noted that paper and cartridge waste recorded a continuousdeclinedue to decreasedprinting. Initiatives are in place to gradually recover metal (cans) and plastic waste (bottles, cups), as new sorting systems are installed. Hazardous industrial waste (WEEE, solvents, paint, varnish, infectiouswaste, etc.) is recycledor disposedof properly.
