Groupe La Poste // CSR REPORT 2022

Advancing the responsible digital services approach 4 FOSTERING ETHICAL, INCLUSIVE AND FRUGAL DIGITAL SERVICES ■

4.4 ADVANCING THE RESPONSIBLE DIGITAL SERVICES APPROACH

The responsible digital services approach is at the crossroads of three challenges of the group’s 2030 strategic plan: ■ Digitisation : Accelerate the digital transformation, develop digital trust services and contribute to digital inclusion; ■ Green : Commit as a leading company in the environmental transformation and make it accessible to all; ■ Citizen : Become a company with a mission whose activity creates a positive impact for society, and demonstrate La Poste’s civic, social and societal responsibility. In 2022, La Poste Groupe adopted a governance framework for its responsible digital services approach, with a responsible digital services and group coordination officer, a responsible design for digital services and group coordination officer, and a governance dedicated to digital accessibility. The group’s Responsible Digital Services Committee is led by the group’s Information Systems Department, now called i-Team (formerly the Shared Service Centre for Information Systems). It meets regularly and defines the ambitions of La Poste Groupe in terms of responsible digital technology, in line with the Company’s commitment to promoting ethical, inclusive and frugal digital services, structured as follows. ■ Purchasing better (responsible purchasing) ■ Better management of the fleet (measurement of the fleet’s footprint) ■ Make better use of one’s working environment (configuration, cleaning and protection) FRUGALITY - Equipment life & design

■ Increase the skills of the project teams ■ Design better and more efficient and inclusive purchasing ■ Follow best practices (recognised standards) INCLUSION - Digital accessibility

■ Increase the skills of the teams ■ Respect compliance (audit) ■ Deploy usability tests (support tools) AI ETHICS - Digital trust

■ Appraise AI projects in the architecture committee ■ Define the positioning of the AI ethics officer and strengthen his or her role in the responsible design of services This ambition in three areas - Frugality, Inclusion, AI Ethics - is implemented through five working groups managed by the Responsible Digital Committee: 1. Frugality: equipment, digital services

2. Ethics: use of AI (life cycle vision) 3. Inclusion: compliance, usability

4. Responsible IT purchasing: pooled contracts, continuous improvement of the group approach and deployment of the IS network 5. Skills: awareness-raising and training of key IS players

Note: in 2023, to strengthen the commitments to responsible digital services, an IS Steering Committee was set up. It includes the Group IS Department, the business unit ISDs and the i-Team’s group responsible digital services officer.
