FROM CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY TO SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE Priority 1: generate productivity and well-being for the occupants in adaptable buildings
The building risk index, for a given hazard, is obtained by crossing the vulnerability rating with that of the projected risk according to a climate scenario and a given time horizon. Details on the methodology are available on the Gecina website at http://www.gecina.fr/en/csr/policy- and-performance.html. 7.3.2.3 Analysis of Performance Following the above analysis, nine assets were identified as priorities relative to the risk levels of the offices portfolio of Gecina. Among these assets, two are now undergoing short term restructuring work. Adaptation solutions have already been
identified for the seven other assets. They will be integrated into an operating action plan following a comparative study of their costs, the potential loss of valuation of the asset and the cost of any damages caused. This additional economic analysis will be carried out in 2018. The results of this approach will contribute to the improvement of knowledge of the financial risks associated with climate change. The value of the real estate properties concerned by these action plans represents €0.9 billion. In addition, 100% of the development projects integrate technical systems to anticipate the evolution of needs and usages of the tenants of the buildings.
