FROM CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY TO SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE An integrated CSR roadmap supporting the strategy
(SBTi) (1) initiative. Gecina is thus the 1 st French property company and the 3 rd world-wide to have its goal recognized by the SBTi. As part of this new CSR roadmap, Gecina has analyzed the entirety of its new scope (residential and commercial integrating the Eurosic portfolio) and has identified the actions and budgets necessary to extend the objective of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from all uses combined by 60% in 2030 compared with 2008. This goal over this extended scope will be again submitted to the SBTi for recognition in the year 2018, thereby demonstrating Gecina’s commitment to climate change issues.

SUMMARY OF PERFORMANCE
Taking into account the impact of the long-term energy and carbon issues, Gecina anticipated updating its strategic thinking and put in place, starting in 2016, a climate roadmap setting the targets for the year 2030 (see 7.5.1 “Carbon footprint”). The major objective for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions of all uses combined, from 60% in 2030 compared to 2008 for the commercial properties, was viewed as compatible with the necessary trajectory to maintain the increase in the average level of planetary temperature at 2°C by the Science Based Targets
