Over the past nine years, CSR programshelped save more than €243 million in expenditure, with direct savings totaling over €107 million. They alsoenabledreductionsof 1,068,000metrictonsof CO 2 equivalent in emissions, nearly 12 million cubic meters in water, more than 2,900 GWh in energy andnearly471,000hoursof absence. This methodologyis presentedin Section 3.4.

In 2015,Eurazeowas the first investmentgroupto launcha methodology for measuring improvementsin its social and environmentalimpacts to demonstratethe financialvalue created by its CSR policies. In order to guaranteehigh standardsand a methodologically rigorousapproach, this methodology was developedwith a specialized firm.
