In 2017 Euronext has acquired 90% of FastMatch Inc., a North American Electronic Communication Network specialised in spot foreign exchange trading. Euronext N.V. has a two-tier governance structure with a Supervisory Board and a Managing Board. Euronext was incorporated under the name Euronext Group N.V. on 15 March 2014 in the context of a demerger of Euronext N.V., which was a company owned by ICE.
