The increase of € 5,985 million in the additional paid-in capital is mainly linked to the acquisition of Ingenico, to remunerate its securities and bonds. The acquisition costs charged to the issue premium were recognized net of tax.

Pensions In 2019, the Group has set up a supplementary defined benefits pension plan to comply with regulatory changes introduced by the “Pact Law”. Commitments related to this plan amount to € 3.5 million as at December 31, 2020 (out of which € 2.9 million disclosed as off-balance sheet commitment in Note 17).
