The closing position of contingency provisions of € 21.3 million included a number of litigation issues, such as tax contingencies and social disputes, guarantees given on disposals and other disputes with clients and suppliers.

The legal department and the lawyers of the Group closely monitor these situations with a view to minimize the ultimate liability.

Current accounts with a short-term maturity – less than one month- have no remuneration. Under “Other Borrowings”, the Group has recognized a financial liability of € 6.7 million related to Cataps acquisition as at December 31, 2016 corresponding to the fair value of the put

option owned by Non-Controlling Interests on the outstanding of 20% shares exercisable at any time from the date of the transaction and a liability linked to the contingency

consideration of MRL Posnet.
