(3) The Executive corporate officers of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain do not receive any compensation for their duties as Directors in companies outside the Group (4) in which the Group has equity interests. Mr. Benoit Bazin’s decision to waive, in respect of the 2020 fiscal year, the increase of the cap on his annual variable compensation from 120% to 150% of his (5) fixed compensation that the Board had initially decided represented a reduction in his variable part granted for 2020 of €141,000. These figures correspond to the compensation awarded or paid to Executive corporate officers (Chairman and Chief executive officer and Chief operating * officer) for the six-month period from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021. These figures correspond to the compensation awarded or paid to Executive corporate officers (Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief executive ** officer) for the six-month period from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. It is specified that Mr. Pierre-André de Chalendar decided to retire and benefit from his rights under the supplementary defined-benefit pension scheme *** “SGPM” of which he was a beneficiary as Chairman and Chief executive officer, as of July 1, 2021. As of this date, he receives a supplementary retirement pension, the gross annual amount of which is approximately €385,800.
