The SDGs moderately aligned with Saint-Gobain’s strategy are tracked by the most relevant: an activity or a Group policy: SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation. This SDG relates directly to the Group’s Pipe Systems Activity. More generally, implementation of the Group’s Water policy fulfills the aim of limiting withdrawals and promoting water reuse.
SDG 15: Life on land. Saint-Gobain’s wood purchases and its quarrying operations have an impact on biodiversity. The Wood Purchasing policy and the Gypsum Activity’s Biodiversity Charter are the cornerstones of the Group’s commitment to biodiversity.
