COMMUNITY OUTREACH 6.4.4

Management of talented employees Developing talented employees is a cornerstone of Natixis’ HR strategy. The annual evaluation is a valuable tool for assessing employee performance.It now covers the leadershipmodel and serves to reviseand establishemployeetarget year-round. The professionalevaluationis held at least once every two years and provides an invaluable opportunity for managers and their employeesto discussprofessionaland careerdevelopment. In 2017, 47% of employees had a professional evaluation and 96% of employees were evaluated during the 2016-2017 campaign. In 2017, a revised, harmonized groupwide Talent Management programwas rolled out at all Natixis entities. Through individual appraisals and career committees, the program anticipates successionneeds and builds an individual developmentplan for each employeeincludingsteps for careeradvancement. In addition,the Natixis “PurpleAcademy”created in 2015 offers a variety of educationalprogramsaimed at supportingthe bank's transition, promoting the deployment of the leadership model, and acceleratingthe developmentof company directors, leaders and talents.

Commitments to solidarity 6.4.4.1 and general-interest projects Natixis is involved in several solidarity and general-interest projectsto benefitthe community. Cancer research Natixis has been a supporterof the FondationGustaveRoussy’s cancer research since 2011. After its support of three teams researching the personalization of cancer treatment, Natixis renewed its commitmentin 2016 by awarding a research grant to three new teams working in three cutting-edge fields of cancer research: immunotherapy,precision medicine and DNA repair. Gustave Roussy, the leading cancer treatmentcenter in Europe, has alwaysstronglyassociatedcarewith fundamentaland clinical research, earning it world-renowned expertise in therapeutic innovationin cancerresearch. In 2017, Natixis served as a partner on two events offered by Gustave Roussy: a concert held at Gaveau Hall to support ovary cancer research, and a digital campaign carried out during international breast cancer awareness month Pink October. Natixis also joined forceswith GustaveRoussyand Racing92, as the official sponsorof "Movember",an internationalmonth aimed at promotingawarenessof men's health issues, for the last ten years.
