upgradingthe teams’ skills through technicaland professional a traininginitiatives; improving the quality of audits, through efforts to reduce the a turnaround times for audit reports and recommendation follow-ups, and to prioritize and limit the number of recommendations; resumingdraftingand updatework on audit guidescarriedout a jointlywith BPCE’sInternalAudit Department; strengtheningthe system for following up recommendations a by bringingin the final phaseof tighteningthe alert systemfor recommendations whose implementation is significantly overdue.

Lastly, Natixis’ Internal Audit Department collaboratedwith its BPCE counterpart on a number of areas. Accordingly,the two departments held seven meetings in 2017. These meetings provided a forum for addressing issues related to auditing programs and practices, as well as topics associatedwith risk assessment and assignment evaluation (General Inspections CoordinationCommittee).
