Summary of annual risks 3.1

This chapter presents information regarding risks and capital adequacy in accordance with the following regulatory requirements: requirementsin respectof accountingstandards(IFRS 7,etc.); a requirements in respect of the European regulation of a June 26,2013 (CRR) and the European CRD IV Directive implementingthe Basel 3reformsin Europe. In addition,since 2013 Natixishas beenworkingto implementall the recommendationsof the working group organized by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) for the purpose of improving banks’ financialcommunicationabout risks (EnhancedDisclosure Task Force, EDTF). A table cross-referencing the EDTF's

recommendations with the information published in the registrationdocumentis providedin Chapter 8. Some informationin this chapter is an integral part of the notes to Natixis' consolidated financial statements and consequently falls under the Statutory Auditors' certification of the consolidated financial statements. This information is identified by the phrase “Data certified by the Statutory Auditors in accordancewith IFRS 7”. Under Pillar III of the Basel Accords, detailed, standardized informationon itemsrelatedto the Basel 3reportand to prudential publications is published in the “RiskandPillar IIIreport”(thereport and the cross-reference tableare availableon the Natixiswebsite– www.natixis.com , under Investors & shareholders, Regulated Information in France).
