A graduate of Sciences Po with a postgraduate degree (DESS) in corporate tax law from Université Paris-Dauphine, Stéphanie Paix has been with Groupe BPCE since 1988. After working as an auditor and lead auditor at Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires (1988-1994), she joined Banque Populaire Rives de Paris as regional director and then Head of Origination and General Organization (1994-2002). In 2002, she joined Natexis Banques Populaires, where she was Head of Operations Management and then Head of Cash Management and Operations (2002-2005). In 2006, she became Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Factor, then Chief Executive Officer of Banque Populaire Atlantique (2008-2011). Stéphanie Paix has been Chairwoman of the Management Board of Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes since end-2011. She is now the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Groupe BPCE’s General Inspection.
