During development operations (site construction), any transferswere ona voluntary basis. In France, individual layoffs invol- ved 94 people in 2016. As part of its strategy to preserve and develop its supply sources, the Group opened a new leather workshop in Normandy in 2016. New stores in Mexico, Rio de Janeiro and at Hong Kong international airport contributed to growth in employee numbers in 2016.

The Group created 590 jobs in 2016. As has been mentioned, the Production sector saw the most growth (with the creation of 326 additio- nal jobs) in order to increaseproduction capacity and to protect expertise and sources of supply.

The Group is largely made up of women (67%), represented at all hie- rarchical levels and in all business activities. The Group’s policy is to guarantee total non-discrimination in the treatment of its employees.
