2.8.4.5 WHISTLEBLOWING SYSTEM In 2019, the Group set up a platform as part of its global H‑Alert! whistleblowing system (§2.8.1.3.2), intended for its employees worldwide and for external and occasional employees. The H‑Alert ! global whistleblowing system was modified in 2022, in particular to: strengthen the protection of whistleblowers against any form of retaliation; s provide suppliers, dealers, distributors, intermediaries and co‑contractors in general with access to the unique H‑Alert! whistleblowing system. s

In 2023, Hermès will continue to strengthen the vigilance programme through the following actions: study on the revamp of the Group ethics charter for all employees and stakeholders; s rollout of human rights training for buyers; s raising awareness among suppliers and partners of ethics and social issues; s communication and training on updating the whistleblowing system; s active monitoring of new European and international regulations. s

In 2022, 69 alerts were received through the H‑Alert! system.
