With regard to right‑of‑use assets, the regulation considers that 100% of the increase in right‑of‑use assets for the year, which at Hermès corresponds mainly to the signing and/or renewal of real estate leases, is eligible under the Taxonomy. The eligible amount is therefore taken directly from the consolidated financial statements and amounts to €330 million for the financial year. Nearly 80% of right‑of‑use assets correspond to point of sale leases, as Hermès owns its production facilities. Given its sector of activity, Hermès' points of sale are often located in the shopping avenues of historic city centres, in buildings that do not yet meet the highest energy performance standards, and which are currently incompatible with the standards set by the Taxonomy.
