OFF-BALANCE SHEET COMMITMENT (Note 47) Property contracts excluded from the scope of IFRS 16, being short-term (mainly contracts with tacit renewal at the time the standard came to be applied on 1 January 2019) are shown at 31 December 2020 as off-balance sheet commitments for the amount of rent still to be paid during the notice year. It should be noted that contractswhose leases have become tacit since 1 January2019 are subject to events implicitlyprolongingthe leases in accordancewith IFRIC’s position and thus remain within the scope of IFRS 16.

Notes 5 and 12 reuse opening stocks, changes during the fiscal year affecting the gross value, amortisation& depreciationand the net book value and closing stocks. IN THE INCOME STATEMENT Financial expenseson lease liabilities are shown on a separate line in Note 43 – Financing expenses. Rent relating short-term leases and low-value goods are shown under Note 38 – Operating expenses, in the “External expenses” line. It shouldbe noted that the Group recognisedno expensesover the fiscal year relating to variable rents not included in the rental obligations valuation.
