Non-owned cars continue to be represented in the share of CO 2 emissions byfar. The Group’s annual CO 2 emissions should be viewed in comparisonwith the carbon stock and emissionspreventedby the forest assets of Groupama, France’s number 2 private forest owner – see box below .

Group carbon footprint indicator CO 2 emissions in 2019/2018: -7.37%; ● CO 2 emissions in 2019/2013: -13.99%. ●

The Group has voluntarilyset an ambitiousmedium-and long-term goal to reduce its carbonemissions:-15%between2013 and 2021 (see Group CSR Strategy).

Groupama’sforests. Data for 2019  (1) : Forest carbonstock: stable at 10 milliont of CO 2 over 20,933 ha  (2) . Annual increase in CO 2  stored (balance between planting and cutting + storage of biomass): +353,162 t, an increase of 0.25% compared with 2018. CO 2 emissions avoided: 75,570 t by the useof tradedtimber (39,658 t in 2018).
