Total long-term impairment reserves for investments valued at fair value were €250 million, compared with €255 million as at 31 December 2017. Regarding equities, a reserve of €121 million was established for strategicsecurities.

The amount of reserves for long-term impairment on investments valued at amortised costis €1 million. Reserves were determined in accordancewith the rules set out in paragraph 3.2.1of the accountingprinciples.
