Analysis of Performance To manage the Foundation’s operations, its Board of Directors met four times to approve 15 programs initiated with employees in 2017. The Foundation made payments amounting to €329,761. 281 employees participated in all of the programs proposed (sponsorship, partnership, group actions), in particular in the operation called “Flowers for bees” on June 20 with the OFA (French Observatory of Apidology). At the same time, the Chief Executive Officer Méka Brunel instituted a “solidarity day” that took place on September 29, bringing together all employees from Eurosic and Gecina for a day of mutual assistance and giving, in partnership with the ONF (National Office of Forests), the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) and the OFA. The share of skills-based sponsorship in 2017 stood at 391.5 days devoted to general-interest projects by employees. Depending on the type of project, actions may or may not be carried out during working hours. The value of working hours amounts to €165,663 and forms part of an additional contribution by the company based on the participation of volunteer employees. Finally, since its establishment in 2008, the Foundation has supported 119 projects with some 50 partners and 400 volunteer Gecina employees. At December 31, 2017,

and since its establishment, the total resources of the Foundation have amounted to €2,525,095 (including gifts received). The Foundation’s governance and projects are described in detail on the dedicated website: http://www.gecina.fr/en/group/foundation.html. 7.7.9.2 As a founding member of the Palladio Foundation, Gecina contributes support, from coaching to the training of all persons involved (students, researchers or young professionals) committed to building the city of the future. In addition to its financial support and active participation in the annual seminars, Gecina hosts the teams of the Palladio Foundation in its premises. In 2017, the training cycle was dedicated to “The City of Tomorrow - what kind of work place” sponsored by Xavier Bertrand, Chairman of the Hauts-de-France Region. Bernard Michel, Chairman of Gecina’s Board of Directors has also served as Chairman of the Committee that distributed scholarships to students.
