Segment Information
The following tables present information with respect to the Company’s business segments. As a rule, inter ‑ segment transfers are carried out on an arm’s length basis. Inter ‑ segment sales predominantly take place between Airbus and Airbus Defence and Space and between Airbus Helicopters and Airbus. Consolidation effects are reported in the column “Eliminations”. The Company uses EBIT as a key indicator of its economic performance. Business segment information for the year ‑ ended 31 December 2023 is as follows:
