NOTES TO THE CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Electricité de France (EDF or the “Company”) is a French société anonyme governed by French law, and registered in France. The consolidated financial statements reflect the accounting position of the Company and its subsidiaries (which together form the “Group”) and the Group’s interests in associates, joint arrangements classified as joint operations, and joint ventures, for the year ended 31 December 2018. The Group is an integrated energy operator engaged in all aspects of the energy business: generation, transmission, distribution, supply, energy trading and services.

As of 31 December 2017, it includes the activities of Framatome: services and production of equipment and fuel for reactors (see note 3.11.2). The Group’s consolidated financial statements at 31 December 2018 were prepared under the responsibility of the Board of Directors and approved by the Directors at the Board meeting held on 14 February 2019. They will become final after approval at the General Shareholders’ Meeting to be held on 16 May 2019.
