REDUCE AND CORRECT THE MAIN CSR RISKS [NFPS]

3.1.3.1 Sustainable development is incorporated into the Company’s decision-making process from the perspective of risks to be controlled and opportunities to be explored. Topics pertaining to sustainable development are regularly discussed at Executive Committee meetings. These in particular include: issues concerning plastic; ● the “Writing the Future, Together” program; ● the development of responsible products; and ● progress reviews of other sustainable development efforts ● (responsible communication, emerging issues, etc.).

Sustainable development as a key factor in the decision-making process

The Sustainable Development Program’s goals and progress are presented to the Board of Directors at least once a year and at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. In 2021, the Board reviewed the progress of “Writing the Future, Together” commitments. In addition, the Audit Committee is kept abreast of the policies and programs implemented. Since 2017, the Nominations, Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee reviews the actions taken by the Group as part of its Sustainable Development Program. It also monitors the implementation of the “Writing the Future, Together” strategy as well as the Group’s progress on responsible innovation, circular economy and the development of new responsible products.

Its focus is provides ongoing support to help facilitate responsible innovation on products and innovation. The Sustainable Development and speed improvements in the carbon footprint and/or societal Department, while continuing to pursue transversal missions, also impact of products.
