SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 3.1. PROGRAM [NFPS]

Sustainability is deeply rooted in BIC’s Values and is an integral part of its day-to-day operations. For close to 20 years, it has played a fundamental role in guiding BIC’s strategy, especially its social and societal actions. In keeping with its core mission, the Group’s ambition is to ensure that it has a limited impact on the environment and society, while making a meaningful contribution to the lives of its teammembers and the planet over the long-term. In its “Writing the Future, Together” program, BIC seeks to build on its long-standing sustainable development efforts and to bolster its engagement by pledging to five commitments for the 2018 to 2025 period.

Launched in 2003, BIC’s Sustainable Development Program has continued to evolve and address major environmental and human issues as well as stakeholder expectations. It also benefits from advances in R&D, innovation, and evolutions in the Group’s operations.
