The data published in 2020 (49.3%) has been corrected following a blank audit conducted in 2021. BIC has chosen to publish the corrected data. (a) In 2021, BIC recorded 50 lost-time injuries for BIC paid team members and 8 more for external temporary staff, while 40 facilities had 0 accidents. These results show no increase in the (b) number of incidents for BIC team members, but an increase in incidents for external temporary staff. BIC will continue its safety culture program roll-out alongside a Safety Focus Action Plan for the Top 5 Factories in 2022. 2021 figures excludes BIC Graphic, recent acquisitions and certain OEMs. (c) Indicator measured for the first time in 2020 as part of BIC’s commitment that year.
