In 2017 BPCE Internationalconducteda strategic review of international ● retail banking operationsfor Groupe BPCE. The BPCE Supervisory Board subsequently began looking for a partner for the five banks in the BPCE Internationalnetwork in Africa and the Indian Ocean. Groupwidetools were used across the entire network to develop ● a more targeted approach to the bank’s mid/high-endindividual

customersand local large corporate customersor subsidiariesof international groups. In New Caledonia, Banque de Nouvelle-Calédonie and BPCE ● International teamed up to finance the construction and operationof two solar PV power plants. They also funded a wind power plant withthe help of Banque de Tahiti.

Ingépar Ingépar, specializing in structured financing, had a very strong year in the transportation and real estate sectors, while expanding its operationsin the Pacific. It establishedcommercialpartnershipswith Banque de Nouvelle-Calédonieand Banque de Tahiti, and opened an office inPapeete. Pramex International Pramex International is the French leader in the establishment of international operations and acquisitions among medium and intermediated-sizedenterprises, assisting approximately 1,000 French companies each year. In 2017, it joined forces with the Banque Populairebanks and NEXT INTERNATIONAL to launch asupportprogramspecially designedfor innovativecompanies.
