Contribution of the Caisses d’Epargne to microloans In 2020, the Caisses d’Epargne continue to be a major player in personal microloans by developing innovative offers and supporting entrepreneurship through professional microloans. The Parcours Confiance associations and the Créa-Sol microfinance institute are dedicated to microloan subscribers. Fifty advisors are dedicated to this activity across France, alongside over 600 partners providing support for borrowers. As part of the Caisses d’Epargne’s 2018-2020 CSR & Cooperative Guidelines, they wanted to diversify their microloan offering for people with less access to traditional credit. The actions put in place in 2020 fully meet the objective of “co-constructing new solutions for financial inclusion.” In 2020, 3,294 personal microloans and 1,343 professional microloans were granted by the Caisses d’Epargne, as well as 444 microloans through Créa-Sol. In partnership with Renault and the Action Tank Entreprises et Pauvreté (ATEP), more than 300 vehicles (final number to come)

were delivered to the beneficiaries of the “Mobilize” offer in 2020. This offer allows people in difficulty to access a new vehicle thanks to a lease-to-buy option financedby a microloan. The Caisses d’Epargne have also developed so-called inclusive offers. Two pilots are being prepared to promote digital inclusion and promote zero-carbon mobility: in partnership with Orange, an offer of Internet access and • equipment at cost price and free digital workshops; in partnershipwith Mobeflex and Wimoov, an offer facilitating • the purchase of a second-hand electrically-assisted bicycle supported by a personal microloan. At the national level, they are represented on the Steering and Supervisory Board of the Fonds de cohésion sociale (social cohesion fund) (COSEF). Internationally, they are involved with the European Microfinance Network (EMN), and Paris Europlace, which has dedicated a special group to the subject.

WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS, THE CHOICE OF THE CAISSES D’EPARGNE In 2020, Caisse d’Epargne continued to implement the framework agreement (2017-2020) signed with the French government in favor of women entrepreneurs. It includes actions to support and promote business creation networks, whether specifically dedicated (Actionnelle, Les Premieres, Force Femmes, ESSEC’s entreprendre au féminin (entrepreneurship for women) program) or general: Boutiques de gestion-BGE, Initiative France, and France Active. These commitments of the Caisses d’Epargne. Out of 408,748 professional customers, 138,090 arewomen, i.e. 34% of this market. Of these clients, 52% obtained a loan guaranteed by the French government. They also account for 48% of Décollage PRO loans granted via the aforementioned support organizations.
