LAUNCH OF THE IMPACT LOAN In 2020, Caisse d’Epargne launched the Impact Loan, a new offer designed to promote the social or environmental commitment of its customers in the real estate and social housing sector. For each Impact Loan subscribed, the interest rate will be indexed to a non-financial social or environmental performanceobjective of its customers, and the bonus received may be paid back to a non-profit. The first Impact Loan, in the amount of €25 million, was made on October 1 by Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France to the Régie Immobilière de la Ville de Paris, the second largest social landlord in Paris, with 60,700 housingunits located mainly in Paris and the suburbs. Thanks to this innovative financing mechanism, it will benefit from an interest rate subsidy of 15 basis points (0.15%), once at least 20% of the housing units assigned annually from the approved housing stock are allocated to a priority public, as defined by the DALO Act (1) . The Caisse d’Epargne Ile-de-France and the Régie Immobilière de la Ville de Paris have jointly agreed to donate 50% of the

subsidy to the Fondation Abbé Pierre. FOCUS ON HEALTH ALLOCATIONS

As the leading private financier of the public hospital sector, the Caisses d’Epargne are mobilizing to meet the new challenges of the health crisis and are thus setting up a large-scale financial support plan for the public hospital sector with a special financing allocation of one billion euros. Launched in May 2020, this support plan includes cash loans that can be mobilized within 48 hours, a medium- and long-term financing offer, and, finally. a credit solution for very-long-term investment needs over periods of up to 40 years.
