Products & Services Internal operations
All the risks featured in the matrix were reviewed. BPCE’s various departments and the Group’s federations and banks took part in workshops. Following this review, the risk matrix was changed. In the “Internal operations” category: one risk renamed, and • one rating modified. The risk named “Exposure to the physical risks of climate change” in 2019 was changed to “Exposure to climate, health and technological risks.” In recognition of the current pandemic as well as the increase in severe weather events, this risk’s rating has been changed: it has moved from low at more than three years to high at fewer than three years.
In the “Governance”category: a change in rating. The severity • of the Business Ethics Risk has been reduced from high to moderate. This risk remains a priority risk for the Group. In the “Products and Services” category: a change of category • and a change in rating. The “Incorporation of ESG criteria in credit and investment decisions” risk was included in this category with an unchanged rating: high. It was previously classified in the “Governance” category. The severity of the “Customer protection &transparencyof the range of products and services” risk increased from moderate to high.
