Global Trade Natixis continued innovating in a bid to facilitate and secure banking transactionsfor its customers.For example,with My TrackedTransfer , financial companiesand institutionsare able to track their international payment transactions in real time. Customers are now able to initiate credit transfers using Instant Payment while securing their bank details with SEPAmail Diamond . Global Trade also launched instant payment via API in partnershipwith Datalog Finance. And, in trade finance and supply chain finance, GT set up electronic signatures for Dailly transactions, and further developed its Receivables Finance offering on the Marco Polo blockchain platform. Investment Banking In 2020, strategic and acquisition finance turned in a very strong performance on a highly competitive market. Natixis was ranked No. 1 bookrunner for sponsored loans in France and No. 6 bookrunner for sponsored loans in the EMEA region (1) . INSURANCE Natixis Assurances designs and manages a comprehensive range of personal insurance products (life insurance, retirement savings vehicles, payment protection insurance, and individual provident insurance) and non-life insurance products (automotive,multi-risk home, supplementaryhealth insurance, personal accident insurance, legal protection, non-banking insurance, etc.). In 2020, it continued to roll out its strategicplan with the aim of becomingthe sole insurance platform serving the Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne networks, thus consolidatingthe Group’spositionas a leading bancassureursin France. Initiated in 2016, this strategy is now payingoff: NatixisAssuranceshas made the greatestprogress on the French domesticmarket. It is now one of the top ten insurers and one of the top five bancassureurs. Natixis Assuranceshas also confirmedits status as a pioneer in terms of climate commitment. It is the only French insurer to have joined the PRI Leaders group this past year, a group of 36 companies considered by the Principles for Responsible Investment(PRI) organizationto be at the forefront of climate reporting. Each year, Natixis Assurances devotes 10% of its investments to green assets with a target of 10% of its total investments being in green assets by 2030 at the latest. Insurance generated NBI of €901 million in 2020, up +8%.

Natixis also completeda numberof landmarkdeals on a highly active global bond market. It maintained and proved its commitmentto fundingthe green transitionwith all categories of issuers. It also did a brisk business on the primary equity markets in France. Natixis took part as global coordinatorin the IPO of La Française des Jeux (€1.9 billion), France’s biggest IPO in 10 years and the first privatizationin the last 15 years, named “2020 IPO of the Year” by Euronext. M&A Advisory Natixis has an international network of seven boutiques including PJ SOLOMON (United States), Fenchurch Advisory (United Kingdom), Natixis Partners España (Spain), Natixis Partners and Clipperton (France), Vermilion Partners (China), and AzureCapital (Australia).In France,Natixis is tied for No. 1 by number of deals and No. 2 in volume on midcaps (2) . Personal Insurance In personal insurance,the year was markedby the overhaulof customerexperienceand by several major launches, including the new Individual Retirement Savings Plan (PERI). Comprehensive, accessibleto all, andcompetitive,thisnewplan meets the needsof customerswhowant to buildup retirement savings with a positive social and environmental impact. Natixis Assurances also launched new personal protection policies for individual customers of the Caisses d’Epargne ( SECUR’ Famille 2 ) and new individual insurance policies for professional customers of the Banques Populaires and the Caisses d’Epargne. Lastly, Natixis Life continued its transformation project and began to extend the marketing of its dedicated solutions for high-net-worth customers to the Caisse d’Epargne network. Outstandings amounted to €72.7 billion (+6% compared to 2019).
