THE GROUP’S BUSINESS LINES

SOCIAL AND SOLIDARITY-BASED ECONOMY (SSE) As the No. 1 private financier of the SSE, with loan outstandings of €5.8 billion in 2020, the Caisses d’Epargne maintained a steady pace in winning new customers, particularly in the social entrepreneurshipmarket, focusing on the challenges of the environmental transition and short supply chains. There were close to 1,000 new customers in 2020. This development is based on a long-standing partnership with the entire SSE ecosystem and social innovation support networks (ESS France, France Active, the Impact France movement, La Ruche, Nexem, Fehap, etc.). PUBLIC SECTOR The Caisses d’Epargneare a major partner of local authorities and public health institutions. Everyday banking, cash management, bridging loans, and project financing: they provide a full range of solutions. Businesswas slowed down under the combinedeffect of the health crisis and the arrival of new teams for municipalities and intermunicipal authorities following the spring municipal elections. In 2020, a credit line granted by the European Investment Bank, Eau & Assainissement III (water & sanitation), up to a maximum of €150 million, was distributed by Groupe BPCE. SOCIAL HOUSING AND SEMI-PUBLIC ENTITIES As historical partners of social housing organizations, with €2.3 billion for medium/long-term financing, the Caisses d’Epargne support their everyday banking, financing and investment needs. The year was marked by the launch of the Caisse d’Epargne Impact Loan . The Caisses d’Epargneare also social housingoperators,with Habitat en Région. The organization is a network of 33 social landlords spread across the country, who manage 270,000 homes in which nearly 570,000 people live. In 2020, profound changes shook up social housing organizations, with capital consolidations, mergers, and the creation of coordinationcompaniesas set out in the Elan act. The Habitat en Région group took advantage of the opportunityto create three coordinationcompaniesat the end of the year.

With solutionsthat are constantlyenriched,and the search for advice with high added value (confirmedby the good levels of customer satisfaction in 2020), the Caisses d’Epargne reaffirmed their ambitions in this market, which they announced in a media campaign and a TV film in November 2020. No. 1 in SSE financing, with a 20.4% market share (1) €1.1bn medium/long-term loan production (including State guaranteed loans) It also supports local authorities with biodiversity and combating flooding and coastal erosion. The year 2020 was also marked by the operational launch of Numairic in all Caissesd’Epargne.This highly innovativedigital credit solution enables municipalitieswith fewer than 5,000 inhabitants to apply for credit directly online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and obtain a loan proposal immediately. Over 200 contracts have been applied for, and the tool’s capabilities are currently being expanded to accelerate the distribution of this solution. With €40.1bn in MLT loan outstandings, Caisse d’Epargne ranks No. 1 in public sector financing. The three coordination companies are the leading social landlords in their respective regions, with a total of 80,000 housing units for Petram, 100,000 for Habitat en Région Sud-Est, and 27,000 for Habitat en Région Occitanie. Lastly, the Caisses d’Epargne renewed their partnershipwith the Federation of Local Public Enterprises (EPL). €2.3bn in new loans €11.9bn in loan outstandings €529m in inflows
