BEING A RESPONSIBLE GROUP IN ITS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PRACTICES

Promoting equal opportunities Following on from action taken since 2010 with the Nos quartiers ont du talent (Our Neighborhoods Have Talent) association, Groupe BPCE participated in the national plan in support of disadvantaged neighborhoods and the “PaQte” agreement between the government and corporations. Several priority actions have therefore been deployed in our companies: http://www.paqte.fr/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/R Reporting-PAQTE-2019-GROUPE-BPCE.pdf raising awareness of working life among young people • through internships and school presentations by employees; facilitating access to apprenticeships to allow young people • from disadvantaged neighborhoods to enter employment and to diversify the Group’s talent pool. In 2019, we had 5.7% of apprentices from the QPV; continuation of our non-discrimination training for recruiters; • more broadly, raising the awareness of all employees about • non-discrimination and the fight against sexism through the provision of self-assessment tools and videos on stereotypes. DEVELOPING EMPLOYABILITY Fostering skills development Transforming our businesses by creating conditions to develop skills and enhance employee value is a priority. Professional training initiatives in 2020 followed on from measures taken under the TEC 2020 strategic plan in 2018.

the modification of the methods for counting employees with • disabilities. The impact of these changes will only be able to be measured at the end of the first reporting exercise via the DSN implemented in 2020, i.e. in June 2021. As a reminder, the employment rate for 2020 will only relate to the direct employment of disabled employees. For reference, at the end of 2019, the overall employment rate (direct and indirect employment rate) of people with disabilities was 4.87% for the Group, while the legal target is 6%. In 2020, Groupe BPCE implemented initiatives to promote direct and indirect employment and the retention of people with disabilities, including: sourcing actions to help companies with their recruitment: • In’2 Job event (https://www.talenteo.fr/recruter-sensibiliser- handicap-bpce-in2job/), sourcing partnership with the adapted company Aktisea, partnership for the automatic distribution of offers on www.Agefiph.fr; communicationand awareness-raisingmeasures: launch of an • online awareness-raising scheme for all employees (Hand’E passports) and creation of a communication kit on the recognition of disability; tools to promote job retention: implementation of a • “Disability & work life” hotline for employees; continued partnership with the GESAT Network in order to • continue to use the services of the protected and adapted work sector. In each company of Groupe BPCE, a disability coordinator supports people with disabilities throughout their career in the company (recruitment, integration, training, job retention, support in the process of recognizing their disability, etc.) in conjunction with human resources managers, managers and occupational health services.

Permanent contracts present or departed on December 31 – In 2020, the method of counting employees trained has changed (see CSR reporting methodology).

In a context largely disrupted by the Covid-19 health crisis, the Group has greatly accelerated the transformation of its face-to-face training courses to adapt them to distance, while prioritizing business training (examples: flow hunters, banking, etc.) and all regulatory training. In addition, and in accordance with the guidelines it had set for itself, in 2020 Groupe BPCE continued training in the following main areas: Boosting expertise to support the transformation: • Management of omni-channel relationships: – Training for all customer advisors in 2020 focused on the appropriation of omni-channel business relationships (the capacity to serve, inform and advise customers across all distribution channels).

Specialized advisors: – Continued efforts to significantly increase the number of specialist advisors led to: certifying the pathways leading to professional client – manager, private banking manager, corporate affairs manager and specialized market manager; creating and rolling out a degree course (master’s level), in – partnership with ESSEC, for all Senior Corporate Affairs officers. Banking penetration and account fees: – To meet customer requirements, new offerings to increase banking penetration rates have been rolled out, with the “Cristal” range at the Banques Populaires and Les Formules for the Caisses d’Epargne. Training was provided to accompany the launch of these products.
