The Group HR department, in consultation with the Association Française des Banques (AFB), and the HR departmentsof all the companies of the Group intensified the social dialog with weekly exchangeswith the trade unions of the Banques Populaires and Caisses d’Epargne, as well as with each Corporate Social and Economic Committee (CSE). This strengthened social dialog, from a distance, focused on changes in the health situation and the measures implemented on a daily basis to deal with changes in the situation in each of the regions, as well as in government (e.g. Ministries of Health and Labor) regulations and directives as well as for the human management of the various situations in which employees found themselves (teleworking, work on site, inability to work for health reasons or childcare, etc.). Groupe BPCE decided not to have recourse to the subsidies granted by the French government in the context of partial activity and to maintain in all its companies the remuneration of employees who are unable to work. The Group HR department held remote meetings on a weekly basis with all Group companies HR departments in order to share updates about the health situation and jointly take appropriate measures, as well as discuss measures specific to their local context. Quality of Life at Work (QVT) officers were also asked to support the new work organizations made necessary by the need for social distancing, the monitoring of identified “Covid” cases, and the definition of intervention protocols. This situation has led to more intensive and remote management of the QVT function, to facilitate the sharing of practices and respond quickly to needs and questions. The Group’s Quality of Life at Work website has been enhanced with a specific “Covid” section to provide real-time informationand to disseminate tools and practices (confinement, remote working, remote management, barrier gestures, etc.). As part of the psychosocial risk prevention systems, special attention has been paid to the consequencesof remote working on a large scale, with the support of listening platforms and the distribution of guides providing managers and employees with benchmarks to ensure they can perform their duties and protect themselves effectively.

A managerial communication to inform, reassure and in particular maintain the link with the employees at a distance.
