ANALYSIS OF THE GROUP’S CARBON FOOTPRINT FOR 2020 The decrease in the Group’s carbon footprint is mainly due to

Fixed assets The Group has invested heavily in mobile IT equipment suitable for teleworking (laptops, headsets, etc.). The change in the number of devices was offset by the reduction in emissions factors taken into account in the calculation. Ademe’s adjustment of these factors is explained by a significant reduction in the carbon footprint, analyzed according to the life cycle of the product. The number of certified or eco-labeled buildings increased by 11%, or 361,928 sq.m., which represents 12% of the total sq.m. used by the Group. Procurement The structure of the Procurement line item changed in 2020, with opposite effects that ultimately virtually cancel each other out. For example, household expenses have increased sharply to meet health requirements, while marketing and events expenses have been almost zero. Emissions factors For energy and fixed assets (IT equipment), emissions factors have been revised downwards by Ademe. These revised emissions factors were integrated into the information system to calculate the Group’s carbon footprint.

the reasons detailed below. Impacts of the pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on the operations of all Group entities. The most significant impacts relate primarily to travel, both business travel and customer travel to our branches. Covid has changed ways of working and, beyond the general lockdown, has led to the gradual spread of teleworking for head office activities. Branches remained open even during the lockdowns. However, we have seen a decline in customer traffic. The use of remote appointments has greatly increased, regardless of the customer segment. Likewise, remote service and management meetings have become the rule.
