The product evaluation and improvement process is managed by a dedicated software program for all existing BIC ® products as well as future developments. The use of renewable energy by BIC is part of a global approach to energy that also covers energy efficiency in operations. When it comes to using renewable energy, the approach is based on a Group roadmap and takes into account local opportunities and constraints. The use of certified renewable electricity is expected to help reduce BIC’s GHG emissions by 50% by 2025 (market-based).
