3.5.1 GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY The challenges of sustainable development are encouraging the manufacturing sector to embrace a virtuous dynamic in which environmental performance drives financial performance. As an engineering company, Assystem is contributing to this dynamic by making innovation a driver to bring about a sustainable world. Added to this, the Group plays a critical role in providing engineering solutions for low-carbon electricity generation (particularly nuclear energy). As a provider of intellectual services, Assystem’s environmental impact is fairly limited. In 2018, the Group’s total greenhouse gas emissions represented 3,970 tonnes of CO 2 . Employees’ business travel (by car and plane) accounted for 98% of CO 2 emissions, followed a long way behind by energy use (electricity) in the Group’s offices. ACTION PLANS AND RESULTS We are continuing to promote sustainable mobility and reductions in CO 2 emissions by encouraging employees to travel by train rather than by plane and adopting a fleet policy that gives preference to green vehicles. Travel policy Business travel by employees in France is governed by the Assystem Travel Policy. This document encourages employees to choose alternatives to travel, such as conference calls and video-conferences, wherever possible. It describes and defines how business travel may be undertaken: ● travel by train is recommended for any journey of less than three hours; 3.5.2 MANAGING THE GROUP’S ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT Promoting green travel

● domestic and medium-haul flights must be in economy class; ● hotels should be chosen for their proximity to the client’s site or Assystem’s offices; ● journeys to and from railway stations and airports should, wherever possible, be made by taxi or equivalent, preferably a hybrid or electric model; ● hire cars should be Euro 6-compliant models. The Expleo Group demerger led to a reduction in plane travel in 2018. We have set stricter standards concerning our fleet, by introducing a requirement for all vehicles to be Euro 6-compliant. We currently have a fleet of around 600 vehicles in France, including 220 company cars and 380 pool cars. The plan is to gradually replace diesel-powered vehicles with rechargeable hybrids, although there are still very few models on the market. The new car policy applicable in 2019 focuses on these models, which emit less CO 2 . Remote meeting solutions We encourage the use of collaborative tools such as Skype, OneDrive and videoconferencing tools to limit employees’ business travel. Car-sharing: mixed results We have a fleet of twelve electric car-sharing vehicles in Lyon and Paris. However, the vehicles are rarely used, and we may abandon the trial. In 2018, our Paris-based teams moved to the La Défense business district which has excellent public transport links. As a result, most employees choose this method of transport. In addition, public car parks are not equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. However, car travel increased. New car policy applicable in 2019
