VISION AND BUSINESS MODEL

Healthcare & Life Sciences, Buildings & Infrastructures and Industries. They enable us to anticipate our clients’ needs and partner them by:

The expertise acquired in the nuclear industry, historically our core business, is deployed in other sectors that are also subject to strict safety and regulatory requirements. Today, Assystem is the engineering partner of choice for infrastructure projects in heavily regulated sectors such as transport and life sciences. Digital technology, a driver of economic and energy efficiency The digital revolution is gradually transforming working methods in the engineering sector. Engineers are having to change, to update and expand their skill-sets, in order to develop new solutions that reduce infrastructure design and build costs, and make the infrastructure more robust and energy efficient. Looking ahead, the industry will combine the physical and digital worlds by deploying a continuum of real and virtual data. Industrial infrastructure will no longer be considered solely as a set of components used to manufacture a product, but as a complex system designed, built and operated using methods and approaches developed around data continuity and integrity. We have acted ahead of the trend by introducing artificial intelligence technologies across entire infrastructure life cycles. These disruptive technologies are used by all our business sectors: Nuclear, Transportation,

● improving processes and project efficiency

Engineering tools such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) enable us to digitise all of the processes and data associated with a project’s life cycle. These tools ensure that the data shared by our engineers is reliable and consistent, by limiting the number of iterations in the various studies. This in turn reduces the build time and the volume of engineering work (time spent on the project). And once the infrastructure comes on stream, life-cycle maintenance operations are also optimised; Thanks to our knowledge and efficient management of the data, we are able to move from a documentation approach to an information approach, from the management of a document to the management of an item of data, in order to deliver time and cost savings for our clients. The nuclear, transportation and life sciences sectors are heavily regulated, with the result that they generate large volumes of assorted data managed by many different players. By facilitating the creation of a common, interoperable data repository, data science enables us to organise and analyse the data and make it intelligent, thereby leading to improved project execution. We also use data science to offer new services to our clients, such as plant and machinery predictive maintenance aids.
