The table below presents one of the indicators used for environmental and social monitoring of projects, the environmental and social performance (E&S). It has been drawn up by environmental and social experts, and corresponds to effective implementation in the field of measures to manage environmental and social challenges of projects in the

reference framework of IFC standards. The comparison of E&S performance of projects signed in 2019 (before signature) underlines that on average, after signature the E&S performance of the projects undergoes a positive change on the Proparco projects (reduction in proportion of “poor” E&S performance and increase in proportion of “good” performance).
