HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

Creation of the public institution,

Aéroport de Paris, which had a public

1945 service mission to build, operate and develop civilian airports in a 50 km radius around Paris.

Inauguration of the second terminal at Paris- Charles de Gaulle with terminal 2B. Inauguration of terminals 2A, 2D and 2C in 1982, 1989 and 1993, respectively.

Commissioning of a temporary south terminal in Paris-Orly. Its large terrace opened to the public has been an unqualified success.

FIRST AEROPLANE LANDING at the Paris-Le Bourget site.

Inauguration of the West terminal at Paris-Orly Halls 2 and 3).

1961 Inauguration of the South terminal at Paris- Orly.

1946 Beginning of operation of Paris-Orly.

1974 Inauguration of Paris- Charles de Gaulle and opening of terminal 1.

Paris-Le Bourget airport, the first fully commercial airport in France. Used as a base by German forces between 1940 and 1944, Paris-Le Bourget became a civil airport again in 1946. Since 1981 the airport has been devoted entirely to business aviation.
